A grove of pine trees tumbles intoxicatingly towards the shore, along with coves, cliffs that fall into the sea, and vast exotic beaches. What a coast! Beaches that are difficult to pronounce include Kathisma, Egremni, Milos, Pefkoulia, Myli, and Ammoglossa. And Porto Katsiki, the island's top attraction. It feels like every swim here is unique.

Inspiration at the beach

Heading to Ai Gianni and Vasiliki, two popular windsurfer beaches that host the International Regatta, to go windsurfing. The best place to go kitesurfing is Myli, which is close to Lefkada town. At the stunning Kathisma beach, if you're even braver, you can paraglide. Or go to the skies in one of the Aeroclub's small aircraft or prop planes.

The legend of Cape Lefkada

You are swept away by the fabled energy as soon as you arrive. In ancient times, sacrifices were offered to the gods at the Temple of Lefkata Apollona, which is located 60 meters above sea level where a lighthouse currently stands.
