Beach holiday

You'll be treated to a parade of Zante's beaches from your caique seat, each one appearing more enchanted than the one before it: Laganas, Tsilivi Gerakas, Vasilikos, Marathonisi, etc. All of these beaches rate among the best in Greece. The iconic Shipwreck Beach (Navagio) in Zakynthos, with its well-known beached vessel that lends drama to the sandy environment, white cliffs, and blue ocean, should not be overlooked.

Greece's first marine park was chosen to be located in the waters surrounding Zante. The eggs of the endangered caretta caretta sea turtles are laid here.

These endangered animals leave the Libyan Sea and the southern Adriatic in the spring, not because they like swimming but rather because, as they have always done, nature instructs them to deposit their eggs in the dunes of Gerakas, Dafni, Kalamaki, Marathonisi, and, most importantly, Sakania, east of Laganas. Do not harm these lovely animals or their eggs if you are fortunate enough to see this spectacle.

Panoramic views

Zante is more than simply its beaches. Wander through charming Bokhali, which is 2 kilometers from the town center, passing along passageways dotted with historic homes and quaint eateries. You'll find yourself pausing to take in the expansive vista of the Bay of Laganas, Argassi, and the harbor. The castle, where the Venetians held their island capital, is hidden by a variety of plants and shrubs and may be reached if you hike a little higher.
